Nestled in the heart of South Carolina, Heron Hill Venue offered the perfect setting for their colorful spring celebration–with rolling green hills, vibrant blooms, and so much joy woven into every moment. There are some wedding days that stay with you—the kind where every detail, every emotion, and every interaction comes together so seamlessly that you find yourself smiling behind the camera the entire time. From the soft spring color palette to the charming parasol umbrellas carried by the bridesmaids, and the relaxed brunch-style reception complete with chicken and waffles, to the never ending reception dance party with their closest friends, every piece of their day reflected Tony and Harmony’s fun-loving, genuine personalities. It was truly an unforgettable celebration of of their love for one another.
A Sweet and Joyful Celebration at Heron Hill Venue
The entire day was bursting with life—from the vibrant florals to the laughter shared between family and friends. Heron Hill Venue served as the perfect backdrop with its open green spaces and rustic- modern charm, setting the tone for a day filled with happiness. One of my favorite details was how the bridesmaids carried parasol umbrellas—it added the sweetest, most whimsical touch to their portraits and fit the spring vibe perfectly. The color palette was soft and fresh, with light green accents that tied everything together effortlessly.
Ceremony and Brunch Reception
Tony and Harmony chose not to do a first look, which made the ceremony even more meaningful as they saw each other for the first time when Harmony walked down the aisle with her dad. The ceremony was filled with heartfelt words as they exchanged vows, followed by a special ring exchange where both of their moms brought the rings to them—a beautiful touch that made the moment even more personal. From the joyful smiles to the overwhelming love you could feel between them, it was the kind of ceremony that leaves a lasting impression on everyone lucky enough to witness it. As the evening rolled on, the celebration only got better—they completely owned the dance floor and partied hard with their closest friends and family. It was the perfect ending to a day that felt lighthearted, meaningful, and full of love.
Guiding With Movement
For their bride and groom portraits, we kept things natural, candid, and full of movement.
